Lockiva — Delete Account & Data
Last updated: 21 August 2026
This page explains how to delete your Lockiva account (if signed in) and remove app data from your device. See also our Privacy Policy.
What data Lockiva stores
- On your device (local): app profile (Parents or Focus + Alert), parent PIN, blocked/allowed apps, screen-time reports, Kids Mode history, region picker (state/district/tehsil), Premium status cache, and settings.
- Google/Firebase (if you signed in): Firebase Authentication (name, email, profile photo from Google).
- Google services: Crashlytics crash logs; AdMob advertising data only on Focus + Alert ad screens (including Alert Watch Ad) — the Parents profile does not request ads; Google Play subscription records; Firestore reads for public institute listings filtered by the region you typed (not GPS).
Lockiva does not upload your child's app usage history to our servers. Usage data stays on the device unless you share a report yourself.
Option 1 — Delete account in the app (Google Sign-In)
- Open Lockiva → Settings
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm deletion
This deletes your Firebase Authentication account and signs you out. If Google asks you to sign in again first, do so and retry (required for recent-login security).
Option 2 — Remove all local app data
- Android Settings → Apps → Lockiva → Storage → Clear data
- Or uninstall Lockiva
This removes PIN, usage stats, reports, and all settings stored on the device.
Option 3 — Revoke Google Sign-In access
- Go to your Google Account permissions
- Find Lockiva and remove access
Cancel Premium subscription
Deleting the app or account does not automatically cancel billing. Cancel in:
Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lockiva Premium → Cancel
